Picnic day 8/31/2014

We went out for a picnic today and it was amazing.  The weather was great, the breeze was so peaceful to the point where I didn't wanna come back home.  I wanted to live there forever :)  It was so much fun. Played badminton with dad, had lunch, and chilled a little.  Then there was an argument between my mom and grandmother on the phone.  It was so stupid cuz I was the reason.  A few days ago I went to my aunt's house to hang with my 3yr old cousin, and he accidentally fell and my grandma was there.  She blamed me for his fall and I got so angry and just walked back home.  She told my mom she wants nothing to do with me anymore even though it wasn't my fault but she blamed me!!!!!!! WEIRD!!!!!!

My mood was ruined at the end, but I had a good day, and I have a close friend (Babak) that I share everything with.  I told him what happened, and he told me to not care about what others think or say about me.  He's so smart and always right, he's always there for me no matter what.  We've been through a lot together and I would've been dead without him :) LOVE U JOOJE (His nickname)  lol!

August 30, 2014

Today I went shopping with mom and dad.  I love spending time with my parents because I love them to death and they are my BFFs.  I don't really like hanging out with friends partying, staying out late, drinking, smoking... I'm just not a fan of stuff like that.  I'm not saying I don't have friends and I'm a lonely person!  No, because I have a lot of friends at school and many other places.  But fun things come to me when I'm with my family either out shopping, cooking, or even just talking and listening to their stories.  I can't live without my parents.  I am who I am today because of them and how hard they worked for me to have a great life.  The funny thing is, when I woke up this morning it was raining and disgusting out.  I thought it's gonna be a bad day, but it was an amazing day today.  I like rain and even thunderstorms as long as it's not severe and scary.  So we just went out to the Mall, got food and ice cream and also planned to go out for a picnic tomorrow, I'm so excited and can't wait.  This entire summer, my mom was sick and her back was killing her.  She couldn't even walk for 5mins and stuff.  That's why we never went out and always stayed home to take care of her.  But I'm glad she's better now and we can go out and have fun like before.  YAY!

Love you mom <3

This morning :)

Farvahar (The Persian Symbol) that all Iranians have

The symbol in the pic is called Farvahar and if you see someone wearing it, then it means he/she is Persian.  Farvahar means the world to Iranians and we all wear it as a necklace to protect and guide us.  I'M SO PROUD TO BE PERSIAN.

What Farvahar Means:

What "Faravahar" meant to the ancient Iranians who carved it on stones is that it represents Zartosht's principles of “Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds”.  Zartosht (Zarathustra), the greatest Iranian teacher and philosopher was a messenger of peace, good life, and eternal love. Zartosht never assumed prophethood or said that he had been missioned to bring any message from God to human beings.  Herecognized his God on the basis of knowledge and wisdom.  Zartosht believed that there is some kind of intelligence (Ahura Mazda) working its way through nature and based his philosophy on Good Deeds, Good Thoughts and Good Words.

He united ancient Iranians into a way of life that guided them to glorious time of prosperity and happiness for centuries (Persian Empire).  Zartosht was a great Iranian spiritual leader of profound and lasting significance.

1. The figure inside is that of an old man, representing wisdom of age. 2. There are two wings in two sides of the picture, which have three main feathers. These main feathers indicate three symbols of "good thoughts, good words, and good deeds," which are at the same time the motive of flight and advancement. 3. The lower part of the Faravahar consists of three parts, representing "bad reflection, bad words and bad deeds" which causes misery and misfortune for human beings. 4. There are two loops at the two sides of the Faravahar, which represent positive forces and negative forces.  The former is directed toward the face and the latter is located at the back. This also indicates that we have to proceed toward the good and turn away from bad. 5. The ring in the center symbolizes theeternity of universe or the eternal nature of the soul. As a circle, it has no beginning and no end. 6. One of the hands points upwards, indicating that there is only one direction to choose in life and that is forward. The other hand holds a ring and some interpreters consider that as the ring of covenant and used in wedding ceremonies representing loyalty and faithfulness which is the basis of Zartosht's philosophy. This means when a true Iranian gives a promise, it is like a ring and it cannot be broken.

Since, the ring of covenant which located in the center of the Faravahar's trunk is the symbol of the immortality of the spirit, it can be inferred that more human beings try to promote their own Faravahar, more their spirit will be elevated in the other world after they pass away. For that reason, ancient Iranians would never mourn at the death of their beloved ones, because they would believe that their spirit will be elevated to a higher level in the other world.  On the basis of one's Faravahar, everybody is responsible for his/her own deed.

About my country (Iran)

Iranians are great people.  They're nice, kind, and caring that not many other countries or people know about.  We love interacting and making friends with people from diff countries.  We respect everyone and will help whoever needs us.  I was born In Karaj which is close to Tehran!  Lived with my parents and grandparents.  Then I was about 10 yrs old, when my family and my grandparents (on my mom's side) decided to move to the U.S. to have a better life.  It was hard at first, but things got better and better.  I started going to school and learned English, Found friends and got really close with my teachers.  Life was good, but I always missed home and my friends.  So, now that I'm 19 yrs old and still missing home, I decided to post and explain a few things about Iranian culture and how Persians actually live.  We are pretty modern and dress very classy.  We're educated people and have the best doctors in the world!  So, I'm gonna post some pics and explain a little bit about them...

Yup!  IKR?  We're cool like that LOL!  So, this is how Iranian girls dress when they're going out, which is freaking nice!

So I think you get the idea right?  Now I'll show you the houses, Malls, beaches, and everything else...

I don't wanna bring negative energy into my blog!  But I just wanna say, if you're doing something you're not happy about, get rid of it!

If you see someone doing something bad, then tell them to stop!

If you are in a bad relationship, move on!  We all make mistakes and learn from them.  Don't regret anything in life.  Everything happens for a reason!

If you live long enough, you'll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you'll be a better person. It's how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit.
